POSITION TITLE: Client Relations Associate

DEPARTMENT: Security Insurance USA

REPORTS TO: Agency Director

CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt

 

SCOPE:

The Client Relations Associate position is a member of the insurance department and will report directly to the Agency Director. The primary responsibility for this position is to provide customer support by assisting other team members with client contact, service, and follow up. This includes answering phones, directing client questions, external and internal marketing, claims processing, payment follow up and general customer relations. It will also involve maintenance of ongoing documentation required for client files.

As part of the overall insurance staff, this position will become knowledgeable of insurance and bank products and services and actively cross-sell and refer clients when applicable.

This position requires a constant awareness of the insurance and bank’s sales culture; actively makes sales referrals, and assists in building long lasting relationships with our clients.

Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1)Client Support:80%

A) Scheduling client reviews and confirming client appointments

B) Claims processing and follow up

C) Client communication regarding payments and cancellations

D) Confirming and updating existing client base information

E) Client follow up for needed documentation

F) Scanning, updating, and organizing of client paper and electronic files

2)Marketing:20%

A) Preparation of thank you cards for new clients and follow up

B) Thank you notifications for referrals and tracking

C) Organization and processing of mailers for internal clients and prospects as determined

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

-This position requires a working knowledge of computers and excellent oral communication skills. Must be able to use equipment found in a typical office environment including: telephone, copiers, calculators and PC.

-Must be willing to learn and process information quickly.
